At 17 Grams we welcome all laptop users, but in order to be fair to all visiting customers we do have a fair usage policy which we do enforce.
1) Customers using laptops may only do so only on the communal table. You are welcome to sit elsewhere but if it becomes necessary to seat other customers you may well be asked to move onto a different table.
2) We ask that all laptop users purchase drinks and/or food for the duration of their visit. You certainly won’t be asked to leave just as you finish your drink or food, but to be fair to all customers, for example we cannot accommodate laptop users who wish to purchase one drink and use their laptop for 2 hours whilst taking up a table for 4 people.
3) We do not offer charging facilities for laptops or any electronic device. Sometimes within the store there maybe plug sockets available but customers use these at their own risk. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for any damage caused to electrical devices caused by a plug socket malfunction or surge.
4) We have free Wi-Fi access that all customers are welcome to use, however we do not guarantee that Wi-Fi will be available or when it is available that the connection will be stable or secure. Whilst connected to our Wi-Fi we do not accept responsibility or liability should the connection fail and the user loses any work or other related product.

Finding free parking in Hove can be a challenge. There is free parking for 1 hour on Boundary Road, and you can park all day on New Church Road expect between 11am-12noon.
